A Topic from Yogi (Sorry for the super late post)

While you stay in the hotel, have you made any major complaint regarding the facilities or services of the hotel? how the hotel staff solve your complaint and what lesson you might take from that case?
thank you and happy blogging!

  1. A major complaint that I've made was in Yogya. My mom booked a room for non-smoking but the front desk agent informed us that no more non-smoking rooms are available. The funny thing is, the front desk agent try to solve the matter by upselling! To be honest i was quite annoyed, because the made a mistake and try to get profit from their mistake.
The lesson for you Yogi as a Front desk agent, try to do upselling as much as you can BUT not forgetting "the hospitality and good service"

  2. hahaha so far, i havent yet because my family is a very easy going people so they dont really care much about the facilities. even if they arent pleased, they will stay quiet and wont complaint since it takes long time to solve problems.

  3. well mine is almost the same like tiff. i rarely complained. haha. but so far the only major complain i ever did is just about the smoking and non-smoking room. my dad request a non-smoking room but we were assigned to a smoking room. after he complained, the front desk agent apologize and re-assign us to the non smoking room.

  4. A major complaint that i have made that was in Singapore. My dad was had an extra charge for dinner at the room. But, we not order anything and the front desk agent show the bill that sign with the guest who order the meal. That sign is not my dad’s sign. So, the front desk agent check again the bill and there was an mistake in the room service department. he appologize for the mistake and my dad paid the bill.

  5. Well, you know my father is a Japanese and rarely a Japanese complaint about a service. So, I don't think that there is any problem with the hotels we stayed.
