With all the different kinds of restaurants..each has their share of pro and cons..even with good food,the service might not be satisfying enough..if u were to make ur own restaurant..what kind of restaurant would u make and y..don't forget to mention the classification of the restaurant!!

  1. It depends on the motivation. If I want to get lots of profit, I will go for QSR. This is because QSR(Quick Service Restaurant)is easy to maintain and fast to reach BEP. However, if my motivation is for social, obviously I will go for casual upscale and dinning restaurant.
    One last thing, the casual upscale and fine dinning in Indonesia in my opinion just a trend. After people get bored with this trend and experience, they will go back to QSR. This is because people want something simple and fast.

  2. i think if i were to make a restaurant i would make a casual restaurant. because nowadays most people go there. not only people that want to socialize but where family's go to.

  3. I would like to open a casual upscale restaurant. In my opinion, casual upscale restaurant can accommodate wider market segment; it can be a place for socializing and eating. So, this restaurant can be multifunctional, and it also has good ambience and impeccable service to satisfy the guests. The market consists of higher-class people and also top-level businessmen. Nowadays, many people held meeting with their costumer in the restaurant and usually they want to book a private room to deal with their client and so on. I think casual upscale restaurant fits the bill. This type of restaurant would thrive because it not only sell food, but also beverage, ambience, and quality services; which are very important in increasing the sales, and for me it will more profitable compared to fine dining and QSR.

  4. i will open a casual-dining restaurant since it is able to cater the needs of people at various ages. demographically, it could capture more public's attention and wider market range. nowadays, people are in a need of satisfying social-relationship with others therefore, this kind of restaurant will definitely be able to cater that. with a reasonable price, nice food, and good ambiance, the guest will be able to fulfill both the biological as well as the social needs while dining in this type of restaurant

  5. I would open a casual upscale restaurant. because it fits to almost every purposes and can attracts many markets.
    It can be use for meetings,formal or informal events(birthday,anniversary,etc),hanging out or even just for eat.
    The restaurant's will gives you a cozy yet classy ambiance and outstanding services.

  6. Its true that not all customers would be please even when their is impeccable services and food, because, i personally think that it all goes back to the customer's mood. If the customer is having a good day, even when the services is not that outstanding, she/ he would still feel pleased with the services. however if the customer is having a bad day, even good services will piss her off.
    If i were to make my own restaurant, i would create a comfortable and peaceful environment with simple settings since I want the people to feel comfort the most being in my restaurant. I would provide normal services however train my staffs to be a professional waiter and waitresess.
    Least of all, I would also hire overseas chefs to work for my restaurant to give the best of the best.

  7. If i already have enough money and time on my hands, i have an imaginations to build a restaurant which i adore and dream since i was a kids. I think i might want to build a restaurant with my own creativity and ideas. i want to build it from a scratch until it become famous on my own hands. i am very interested to build a theme restaurant. I want to create a restaurant which is like a home to every guests. i want to have a garden view restaurant with beautiful flower all over the place. and the white furniture and equipment will suit very nicely. The food and beverage is also a modification from mother's cuisine. i also plan to make the cake and bread by myself. If i successful in building this restaurant, for sure i will invite all of you to visit my restaurant and 10% discount..

    anyway, this is my answer.

    If I were to open a restaurant, I'll definitely choose fast casual. Why? The answer is, fast casual restaurant gain a lot of proft and yet the service is present. An example of a succesful fast casual restaurant will be pepper lunch.

    Simple and yet old fashioned restaurant is the restaurant that I have in my mind as I think, restaurant in the olden days interact more with their customer than today.
